SDG 1: No Poverty week is powered by Brainswork
'At Brainswork, we believe that each and every one of us can make a positive difference.'
The “No Poverty” week, part of the 1MillionStartups SDG Weekly campaign is powered by Brainswork.
What is Brainswork?
Since 2005, Brainswork has been dedicated to empowering unique individuals and companies to create a better future. Founded by visionary entrepreneur Selma Prodanovic, Brainswork is the influential management consultancy specialized in startup creation and innovative eco-system development.
Brainswork services are based on the capacity to transfer knowledge from wide and diverse fields of experience, connect them, and create entirely new and innovative results based on the proprietary business development strategy - brainsworking. By connecting people and ideas, they provide sustainable development solutions and higher, both tangible and intangible, return on investment.
Why did they decide to power the first week in the 1MillionStartups SDG Campaign?
This is what they told us:
"At Brainswork, we believe that each and every one of us can make a positive difference. So we envision the whole world, 7 billion brains, working together for the innovative improvement and sustainable progress.
This is why we are honored to support the 1MillionStartups SDG Campaign, more specifically, SDG #1 “No Poverty.”
Entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial mind-set are key-drivers in fighting poverty. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “everyone has the right to work.” Yet between the “right” and the reality, there are worlds… Although the positive change is visible, today, almost 600 mio people still live in extreme poverty.
Brainswork is proud to contribute to empowering individuals in fighting poverty, creating their own jobs, potentially employing others, and moreover creating solutions to the grand challenges of our time with their entrepreneurial endeavor."
Join 1MillionStartups to be among other solution makers working towards achieving the #SDG1.
