Where are we today?

Over 500 signers of the Global Entrepreneurship Declaration from 65 countries from all around the world!

We launched the Global Entrepreneurship Declaration on 24th of November 2017 and since then 1MillionStartups community is growing stronger each day.

Hundreds of new startups joined our platform and by registering they become the signatories of Global Entrepreneurship Declaration.

Startups who joined by 22nd of November were added to the Declaration in the Annex as Founding members, but each quarter we are adding new startups to the documents that are traveling with us around the world. We carry the declaration to institutions, organizations and to important people to promote our members, and everyone who we talk to and show the Global Entrepreneurship Declaration to has the chance to see the names of every startup on 1MillionStartups platform, find them on our webpage and contact them.

The purpose of the Declaration is to globally build awareness on the importance of startups for social and economic development and to promote entrepreneurship as a tool to fast-track achieving the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

At first, only startups could become a part of the Declaration, but now we invited everyone to sign the Declaration and with that digital signature support and help promote entrepreneurship and self-employment to create decent jobs for women and men around the world now, and for generations to come.

Our goal is to reach 1 Million people to sign the Declaration. With 1.000.000 signatures we will submit and display Global Entrepreneurship Declaration to the most important instances around the world; EU Parliament, USA Congress, UN General Assembly, and more. Pushing the governments globally to introduce new policies facilitating the development of entrepreneurship, especially small-scale businesses, policies that are equal for all signifying age, gender and diversity approach.

On Thursday, 22nd of February we have our first stop in Brussels where we are presenting the Global Entrepreneurship Declaration in European Parliament where our partner EBAN - European Business Angels Network will kick off its 20th Anniversary Road Show - "EurInvest - Nation of Investors".
